THE BUILDING PROCESS

Our garden office buildings are built to the quality of a house extension and they cannot be finished in just a day or two.

The time it takes to construct one of our buildings depends primarily on size and complexity but the following is an indication.

DAY 1

Tanalised timber supporting frame is erected, levelled and fixed  onto the prepared base, leaving an air gap beneath.  A breather membrane is fixed to the framework to prevents any moisture penetration.

DAYS 2 & 3

Lorry arrives and all panels are offloaded.   The floor panels are laid, the  wall plate is fitted and then the wall panels are lifted into place followed by the roof panels.

All panels being secured and draught proofed the windows and doors can be fitted.

Once the breather membrane and roof tiles or EPDM membrane fitted your garden office is weather proof.

DAY 4

Electric cables fitted,  plaster board fitted.

DAYS 5 & 6

Plastering completed.

DAY 7

While the plaster dries the cladding is installed.

DAY 8

Second fix electrics.

DAY 9

Decoration and finishing.

Complex and large garden offices buildings may well take several days longer.
